RACE DAY
Sapporo Racecourse
One of the highlights will be the Sapporo Nisai Stakes (G3), a notable race for two-year-olds over a distance of 1800 metres.
The race meeting forms an integral part of Sapporo Racecourse’s position as a venue for the debut of young horses. Many of the racecourse’s notable races are held for two- and three-year-olds, and are therefore widely considered preparation races for both Grade 1 races in the fall and the following year’s Japanese Classic races.
